MMB Forged Irons at The Golf Shed
At The Golf Shed, Quality is never second
  • Progressively designed “Blade” optimizes shot trajectories from the long irons to the short irons
  • “Weight relief pocket” and inverted muscle design in 3 thru 7 iron allow for correct c.g. location to maximize playability
  • Tungsten toe weighting in the long irons (3,4,5) further improves stability and forgiveness
  • Traditionally designed short irons (8 thru PW,GW) provide the “controlled” trajectories preferred by better players
  • Offset and top line designed to appeal to purists wanting a traditional, solid appearance at address
  • U-Grooves adhere to the new USGA guidelines
  • Manufactured from 8620 Carbon Steel for soft feel and adjustability

This is one of the nicest set up we have seen in forged irons for the mid to lower handicap players. There are a lot of options so in building this set we will ask that you email us with the fitting form so we can better exact what your needs are.
The photos show the contrast in the  4 and 5 irons. The 3 iron is like the 4 and 5 irons but not shown. Then the 6 and 7 irons are shown. And, finally the 8, 9 and PW are shown. You can see the transition between the irons. The long irons have more weight and is at the heel and toe and the 6 and 7 irons are weighted at the heel. Finally the 8, 9 amd PW are all muscleback. If you look closely you can see what the new MMB forged iron sets are set up with weight relief pockets in the irons from the 3 through the 7 iron and then a more traditional blade type in the 8 iron through the gap wedge. Hope this shows up better than what we had pictured before. I feel there is a smooth transition from the 3 iron being more like a cavity back to the PW which is the full muscleback.
